I really am very excited about tomorrow's chalet. I bet you guys are excited too!

Anyway, the point of this post is that, because it's a Monday, and on Mondays, Channel 5 shows Heroes and moi, being a really hardcore fan of Heroes, am going to watch it.

Yes, so please please please leave the TV alone when I switch it to Channel 5 tomorrow, at 10 pm sharp. It lasts an hour, so at 11pm, anybody is free to regain the monopoly of the TV.

Yes, I'm completely serious.

Heroes-telly-programme switchers, beware!

If need be, I shall lock you outside so as to ensure that the TV is essentially playing Heroes.

I have so far garnered one supporter, Zoe. So you'll be up against us, two. But if the rest of you gang up on us two, then well, you don't have to really calculate the probability of me and Zoe winning.

ok, in another attempt to revive the class blog, i'll inform you of our class fund state again. there is currently $85.90 in it, and will almost definitely be enough for the class chalet, especially since ms yap hasn't paid her share. so if you're buying anything to contribute to class chalet, eel free to claim

some rules about claiming:

please show me your receipt. i NEED the receipt in order for you to claim anything
(still need to ask mdm sau about this) the things like tongs and stuff, i am thinking you can claim 50%. relatively fair, since you can take those things home afterwards

think thats all for now. actually, just for your own interest, i have just done some calculating, and you guys each have paid at least $97.80 each to either the class or school stuff this year. plus or minus because some of you didn't buy certain things and i am not the one who collected all money this year. like your environmental movie was not collected by me.

as for class fund(inclusive of class chalet), i have collected in total $50 from each of you. hm... thats a total of... $1150. and we have about $90 left now. whoa! even i am surprised at how money flies like that. but the clz chalet already cost $592.20.

Jacky lives at/near Raffles Place and we (the 4 band members) waited for him at Raffles Place only to see him + Jeremy + other random I think 1L guy alighted the MRT, and to say 'bye' to him.

Anyway to those I promised the History powerpoint, I must say something: I am still at Raffles contributions to make Singapore a successful trading port okay. If I can chiong, most probably finish like 12+. If cannot finish, I'll be chionging until tomorrow afternoon like that.

So if you think you don't want to wait I suggest you start reading your history readings now. Cuz I'm the slacker who never read history readings der so now refering as I type in the more important points...

But if you think you want to wait, I won't stop you, just that if it doesnt come on time don't kill me. I count properly ler. History exams on Wednesday. So if I send you all like tomorrow, you all still got two afternoons to study it properly.

hey! shi en, the 2E chairperson has just told me that they might be suggesting a prom night for the year twos at the end of this year. i think some of you may have known, because she said she told a person from our class and told him/her to ask us. somehow, the message didn't get to me, so i'll post here anyway to see what you think.

date: to be confirmed. probably straight after exam
time: 8pm to 11pm
venue: to be confirmed. orchid country club is suggested
cost: to be confirmed. about $30 per person
attire: smart casual (no need ball gown)

Just to share with you all what Ms Ling shared with us today..

ok so apparently ms ling knew about our 3 tests- but its after our tests were held so she said we should go tell her earlier so she can do something for us.. and just to let you all know that in DHS, we can only have 3 tests per week and the maxi for one day is 2 tests :D so nxt time if go more that 3 tests in one week/3 tests in one day can go tell her or sth.

some good /bad news..

ms ling would be our level head even in sec three. so yupps. oh..then thee usual stuff like to monitor ppl if they are like nt behaving like themselves..etc. i dont think our class has thou..

and we'll have our streaming form tmr. the MOCK one. but please do take it seryously cos yea..it'll like open up the number of classes: D and yay im taking geog. lalalal

then empty the dustbin 2 times a day..overall OK. students stressed level. you all feeling Ok rite? dun scare me hor :S

and i shall leave this most important thing to the last...

The common tests are almost over. We haven't had our LA comprehension test yet.

Anyway, I know I failed my History. Why? Cause I eff-ing completed only 1 question. The others I wrote some crap answer but they were complete.

3 tests in a day. I still can't believe that teachers would stress us out like this.

O higher powers, just lemme pass these 3 tests.
And those following.

Okay, there's still the portfolio due this wednesday and the yingyongwen for Mdm Sau. Better don't forget.

And I think many people will be very relieved to know that I've booked the chalet. So it just means that you'll have to pay around $25.80 per person.

Actually, it's just $492.20, but Aranda charges a $100 deposit. So basically, if you break anything teeny weeny thing, like a plate or whatever, the whole amount is forfeited.

Which means you have the choice of breaking more things until the whole value surpasses $100 :)

How are you people faring during these holidays?

Mine is pretty bad. I haven't start on my homework, excluding Maths and the LA letter, and I just tightened my braces, which means I have to survive on Campbell soups and porridge for the next few days, which means I cannot practice my clarinet, which inevitably means I will have to fail my indoor test which will take place on the 2nd week of term 3.

Woebegone, literally. If I can just separate the word, woe-be-gone. Wait, woeS-be-gone would be more apt.

Damnit. There's supposed to be a wedding dinner tonight but I can't go! No thanks to my braces, duh. And I may have to extract a tooth or two to straighten out the bottom layer of teeth. But I'm not daunted.

and when I was in Kallang MRT, I found out that I had LOST MY WALLET!!! omg I was so panicky. I was like in the MRT with QH and YS then realised I can't enter the MRT track. like crys said we went to take neos :) it was fun :) tho we spent nearly half hr thinking of like all the moves lol. she says she wants to scan in the neos n put them on blog. gah. having all of you people out there seeing how dumb we were isn't exactly the best idea. but she says the entire idea of taking neos is to laugh at it. *shrugs*

tissue paper!! the wonderful invention. wadeva. i got the 'full package' fvrom my senior and i'm telling you it ain't the best thing in the world. it's like you're happily typing away at the com n your nose starts running so you have to go get tissue. gah. my eyes are starting to tear too. wow. great ain't it?

Hey all!

Hope all of you are enjoying your holidays so far.

Oh and Vivien has sent each and every one of us (I think) the LA homework. Yep, so don't disappoint the LA rep and do your LA homework.

Yesterday, Zoe and I watched Shrek 3! Yep. It was very funny and I really did laughed out loud.

But, overall, it just has a very, very stereotype plot with lots, and lots of humourous parts. Most of the time, if I'm not wrong.

Gah. I was very disappointed actually. I wanted to watch Spiderman 3 and see Tobey Maguire~~'s abs~~.

But cannot.

After that, Zoe and I went to take neoprints! For $8 each.

We totally didn't know what to do. So, we sat inside that neoprint booth and spaced out thinking of poses and stuff. Haha. And we got totally addicted.

Oh, and we didn't know that they provided seats for you to pull out and sit while decorating your neoprint.

How intelligent.

That's beside the point though.

Anyway, then, I bought the Shrek ears!

Gay. It screamed GAY from every single of its pores.

Crystal is turning GAY.

Oh, and don't forget, this Sunday would be the Zoolympix. So remember to report at 8.45am if I'm not wrong.

friday was like spot check, then my super layered hair was unfortunately at that kind of not long not short length. and even more unfortunate is the fact that it touches my collar. so the end result? i had to tie it up. into 2s. and i didn't tie it myself. someone helped me tie and i didn't know how i looked until i went to the toilet and realised to my horror how i looked.

i guess i caused an "uproar" with my hairstyle. cuz my senior said her friends were talking about it and she was like "oh my god tt's my junior" lol. can't blame me, i didn't noe i looked like that. got a lot of comments. some said i looked cute (?!) some said i look like shrek (wow, say hi to the new and abridged version of shrek! welcome shrek 4!) and i think it's better i dun hear some of the comments certain people said cuz i have a bad feeling about it.

anyways, i've good news, not very big event but our class jus finished giving me all ur idmi scores. good job ppl! so cooperative :) make me happy le ^-^ now dun haf to go chase people for their scores. heh, it feels good to accomplish something.

on the other hand, i tink of my gpa only feel horrible...keep dropping leh...have to do soemthing about it...that is if i don't collapse from all the projects first. got so much projects lor, then cca oso very how to say...very pia...have been staying up for many nites le..for projects and one nite to practice.lol

I shall attempt to post about level camp, about my experience and my feelings about certain things..and also the activities that we played for the sake of Magan x))

According to my group's schedule, this is the itinery for the 4 days 3 nights camp:

Tuesday:
-assemble
-depart to Pulau Ubin by the bumboats
-camp orientataion(icebreakers and those stuff)
-Team Dynamics(icebreakers, introduction & stuff)
-pitching up of tents
-wash up
-dinner
-nightout (aka nightwalk)
-debrief, supper
-sleep

This is the overview for day one of camp. I must really admit that for the first day, I was super not enthu and stoned at the side together with Brenda. On hindsight, I feel really bad, and Karis (my grp leader) had to try to bond us together. Really, the first day was super sian and I couldn't take it. Like cheers? For the icebreakers, I was really stoning and dno do what (oh ya, pulling the grass!) and remained quiet and still and yea. As Yasi was in grp 5 (I was in grp4), I went to talk to Yasi and Yingying/Maybe it was because I did not have a really good friend in my group, and the only person I was more familiar with was Lydia and she went with yixi aka Dawn, who is a SaintJohn-ian..However, after the tent pitching and more more icebreakers, I began to warm up and OH!! I got a friend. Ok. It sounds really stupid. And my new-found-friend is Karis. ya...some girl from 2I. super high and enthu that its quite Erkhmm at some timess(= THe night walk was still OK and yangshen was navigating the way and you know the result..He broke the torch-.-!

bathing. OK. ITS SUPER DISGUSTING. First, there's a long long queue. 2nd, the guys toilet that we were bathing in had no curtain. So, yea. We were using towels to act as a curtain, but we still had to bathe. together. with a friend. Nevertheless, I was damn horrified canns. Freaky. haha...but i only took off my shirt and nothing else. And I bathed like that and so you can expect how horrified i was.
Ok, there are many cockroaches in the toilets, or rathr the cubicles. And it was super stinky I assure you. And some freaky girl pooed and did not flush., and the shit was all around in the toilet bowl and also on the edge of the toilet bowl, waiting to drop down. Hey mag, Its stinky dokies.

sleeping..the tent was hot and lydia woke me up fullstop. and im tired.

Wednesday
It rained that day, and I was rather disappointed as the activities that we were supposed to do were high ropes and dno what. ahh wait. I shall go in a chronological order.

Project teamtanics, well, basically we had to build a raft using 6 logs, 4 barrels, 15 ropes. And this raft has to float and carry 5 people. For this activity I was really din dei and didnt do anything as our one and only guide did almost everything for the building of the raft. Ya..any way sth like that..then we went into the lagoon in the campsite and row the 'boat', although I didnt row it.

For High Ropes, which is basically climbing up the high high ropes and walking on a freaky thin line/ladder/log, it was scary i think. Mrs Chu was our guinea pig haha and she showed us how to walk on the high ropes. I think she was damn pro..She climbed up the high high ladder and then walked on the shaky long ladder. She accidentally fell while walking on the horizontal ladder but she still stood up and continued walking. For this, I applaude her. I really felt so..ARR i dno how to describe this feeling but I really felt that she was super brave, on and enthu. Really happy that she was the incharge for my group x))))

Yixi went on the high ropes next. I was holding onto Pingwei's Harness and I had to grip him tightly lest he fall or get pulled up my the pulley? sth like that. Yixi was really afraid, and she was crying, but I am proud that she managed to complete the whole thingy!! For my group, we had to walk on the rope and hold other ropes that are placed about 1.5 meters apart. It was scary I think, from my view from the ground. And when Yixi was coming down, I had to grip on tighter to Pingwei's harness.. I admit that PIngwei is nice but irritating sometimes. He keeps calling me jiajiazhenzhen. jia de zhen bu liao, zhen de jia bu liao. that was I dont really care..haha. I'll just reply jia3 de. haha. and I reply by pingpingweiwei, weiweipingping. ok. this is lame. anyway, the whole grp was calling me that weird name. haha. thanks to pingwei.

and when it rained, we just do the mass dance and stuff.

ubin explorer..just walk and walk to get to the heart of Ubin to buy tidbits and view the island at the same time. It was raining mind you and Vivien did not want to help me carry my so light wallet in her bag. I did not have pockets and i was having trouble with my poncho! And thanks karis, yes, I look really like a GREEN dementor. While I was there, I saw the hwachong people..they were really worn out and tired, and their camp was really the real wans, unlike ours where they sleep in between the trees. they smell weird too. sorry, no offence haha

day3

play loads of stuff..balloon thingy , shoe thingy which are lame. blah blah which are also lame and included in the Great team olympics

low ropes, when we had to swing across on the rope to the other side of the mat. Quite fun(=
the other item included in the low ropes was the V-shaped rope. In that, we had to hold our partner's hand and for me its Karis and walk on the rope. Although it may seem easy, it is actually not. and Im grateful to my friends for holding me and supporting me, preventing me from losing my balance and falling.

And Ms tan also wanted to have a go on the ropes. She paired up with'Prankster' which is a girl from track (sry i forgot name muahahha) and walked pretty far. Karis and my job was to bend our backs for them to lean on/to prevent them from falling if they did. And for me, I was on Ms tan's side and she leaned on me harder and harder as they advanced. It was pretty pain but still ok. and she was cute..keep on say liu hao jiazhen ke yi ma? haha. only Ms tan leaned on me. the track girl did not lean on karis..and that track fir was rather proud of it and said that Ms tan lao kok kok. hahaha. hhehe. no offence.

ahh..the rockwall. I was the first person to go up and many people encouraged me, including Mrs chu. Thankyouverymuch. love u all loads. I climbed up the harder rock, and reached until the part where many people stopped because of the weird hump that protuded out and prevented us from going any furthur. the coming down part was nice, just hanging in the air...and someone had to catch me and yea a guy did that. No comments, although Vivien keeps suaning me. lolx

campfire night..nth to say. just quite enthu..and my body feels pain

And yea, we slept in the CHALET!! THANKS TEACHERS!! Its far better than the tents, although cockcroaches and insects were present..but its nice and cooling and brenda and the group had sorta a tiff. but it soon died down.

and I slept at 3 plus..and woke up kinda late..then I went for the marigold thingy..sorry that I did not really say goodbye to my grp members and instructor. bye! ahhaa. retarded. and bye island. me and zoe are going off. (= so we went off early and we live happily ever after.

And today LSP, I was not listening and slacking throughout (but who paid attention?), counting GPAs with Qinghui and Shujun. Haha, I've got it worked out. All I got to do is get 1 A and 1 B for my humanities. Totally impossible. Anybody wanna tutor me in my humanities? I can pay you!

Oh. And Huihan, if you're reading this, I really love you and your books! I mean they are totally wonderful! I really must make a trip to your house! Then, I'll raid your library no?

Mass dance in the hall during interaction period. The 2 Mr Lims were real sporting, I'll give them that. But the dance was totally idiot-proof! OHNOOHNOOHNOOHNOOHNOOHNO! But worth the laughter. They were entertaining, especially the limbo rock (which Zoe so loves)!

But, I bet there are sexual undertones to it.

Guess I'd just have to wait for the level camp to be enthu.

And, after school, we, meaning Zoe and I, went to the band room to have our waists and hips measured. THE HORRORS! I am so damn fat.
